This notice describes how data is processed when you use the website or contact the foundation. Effective 16 July 2026.

Data that may be processed
When you send an email, we process the data contained in it, such as your address, name, affiliation, message, and any attachments you choose to provide. Server infrastructure may record technical security logs, including IP address, request time, requested URL, and browser information.
Purposes and legal bases
We process correspondence to respond, assess a collaboration proposal, or take steps at your request. The legal basis may be steps requested before entering into a contract or the foundation’s legitimate interests in communication and the protection of legal claims. Technical logs support website security and reliability on the basis of legitimate interests. Where retention is required by law, the basis is a legal obligation.
Recipients and transfers
Data may be accessible to hosting and email infrastructure providers supporting the foundation under appropriate data-protection terms, and to authorised public bodies where required by law. We do not sell personal data or disclose it to advertising brokers.
Retention
We retain correspondence for the time needed to handle the matter, and longer only where required by law, project accountability, or the protection of legal claims. Technical logs are kept no longer than necessary for security and diagnostics.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, rectification, erasure, or restriction of processing, and you may object to processing. You may also lodge a complaint with the President of Poland’s Personal Data Protection Office.
